Titled “Annapoorani – The Goddess of Taste,” the film’s initial teaser immerses viewers in temple imagery, providing a tantalizing glimpse of what’s to come. The video features a devout Hindu family engrossed in their daily rituals, with the father, mother, and grandmother taking center stage.
However, a captivating contrast emerges when we focus on the family’s daughter, played by Nayanthara. She is depicted holding a book on business logistics and supply chain management, but this is merely a facade. Her true passion lies in the world of culinary delights, particularly non-vegetarian dishes, as she meticulously takes notes on them.
Written and directed by Nilesh Krishnaa in his directorial debut, “Annapoorani” boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Nayanthara, Jai, Sathyaraj, Achyuth Kumar, KS Ravikumar, and Suresh Chakkaravarthy.
