Nandamuri Balakrishna‘s most recent release, “Bhagavanth Kesari,” hit the big screens on Thursday, October 19. The film made a respectable debut, grossing an impressive RS 32.33 crores worldwide on its opening day. It started with standard occupancy levels but gradually gained momentum throughout the day due to positive word-of-mouth.
Maintaining this upward trajectory, the film achieved a remarkable 19+ crore collection on its second day, bringing the total to an impressive 51+ crores within just two days. With this performance, NBK’s “Bhagavanth Kesari” swiftly entered the coveted 50 Crore club in just 48 hours, defying initial mixed reviews.
Despite some criticisms, the movie managed to hold its ground on the second day, and the filmmakers are optimistic that it will continue to flourish during the upcoming festival days.
To celebrate the film’s success, the team organized a press conference. During the event, Director Anil Ravipudi expressed his gratitude to the audience for their positive feedback, which contributed to the film’s success. He also thanked Nandamuri Balakrishna for providing him with the opportunity to direct a film that highlights the importance of women’s safety and empowerment.
“Bhagavanth Kesari” is produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under the Shine Screens banner. Apart from Balakrishna, the film features pivotal roles played by Sree Leela and Kajal, with Arjun Rampal portraying a stylish antagonist. This film marks a significant milestone in its journey, having swiftly entered the 50 Crore club within just two days of release.
