Jailer, the latest film starring Bollywood superstar Rajinikanth, is getting closer to earning Rs 150 crore globally.
Jailer managed to earn Rs 40 on Monday at the box office, according to reports. The entire amount collected for the movie is Rs 351.
Day 1 – ₹ 95.78 cr
Day 2 – ₹ 56.24 cr
Day 3 – ₹ 68.51 cr
Day 4 – ₹ 82.36 cr
Day 5 – ₹ 49.03 cr
Total: 351.92 crore
Nelson is the director of Jailer. After a two-year hiatus, Rajinikanth returns to the big screen. He is perceived to be a retired police officer. Jailer Showcase, the official trailer for Rajinikanth’s Jailer, was released earlier this month.
Jailer also stars Jackie Shroff, Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, and Vinayakan in addition to Rajinikanth. Mohanlal, a veteran Malayalam actor, appears in the film for a lengthy cameo.
Jailer will compete with Akshay Kumar’s OMG and Sunny Deol’s Gaddar 2. Rajinikanth congratulated the crowd and supporters for the film’s box office success.
